O'Reilly

I'm watching the O'Reilly Factor on Fox News. He has guest John "Apollo" Payne, Los Angeles "gangsta", lecturing me on the violence in what O'Reilly calls the "vile gangsta rap industry." They agree that there is a predilection for those who listen to "gangsta rap" to abuse drugs and disrespect women. That might be true. I haven't developed a predilection for war by listening to the George W. Bush though, so who knows?

Before the thugged out portion of the show O'Reilly explained how the newly formed Kerry/Edwards ticket is "the most liberal political pairing in recent political history." I almost choked on an ice cube. I guess Nader/LaDuke for the Greens in 2000 or Cobb/LaMarche 2004 don't count? What about Nader/Camejo as independents in 2004? I guess O'Reilly means a ticket belonging to the Business Party. The whole rest of the spectrum just doesn't matter. Tony Snow (Fox News political analyst) called Kerry the most liberal senator of last year and Edwards the 4th most liberal. I had to put the ice cubes down once and for all after hearing that one.

It wasn't a moment too soon either. O'Reilly mentioned the newest Bush/Cheney campaign commercial. A video called "First Choice" which is kind of a two direction attack which both mocks Kerry over the rumor that Kerry first wanted Republican John McCain for his running mate and also touts McCain's endorsement of President Bush. McCain however has been more critical of some of the administrations choices as any other Republican in the mainstream media. This is just another attempt by the Big Two to dichotomize politics into black and white. Give me a break.

O'Reilly showed a pole that listed 19% of Americans as claiming to be liberal while 40% claimed to be conservative. This made O'Reilly suggest that Americans are not happy with liberals like Kerry and Edwards. He's right about that one for sure. I'm not happy with liberals like those two at all. Good grief. These centrist fools are all the conservatives have to attack liberalism with? What a joke. The even bigger joke is that the other 40% of Americans must have either been centrists too or else just wondered what the hell the word liberal means.

I saw a clip today of Edwards and Kerry also on O'Reilly's show. Guess who was on stage with them in the shot? The one and only Ann Coulter. Of course, she has an article fresh out which slams Edwards. She didn't seem too upset to be on stage with them though. I love to search for Ann Coulter on the internet and read what some people think about her. Lot's of people love her to death. Every single person who is smart enough to regret voting for Bush secretly knows the truth though. Ann Coulter is a flaming moron. That's about it.
