It stayed cold and rainy, like November does. The wind is slight today, so there is just a calm chilly silence in the air. It has to be what creates the lonely feeling so rampant this time of year. The air is a crisp like fall though. Not quite wintery, just getting there. If you dropped a coin it might slow with all the emotion for just one moment, defy the laws of physics, and fall in stunted motion with all the cars and the people which, both human and machine alike, make their way down the same paths towards the same destinations. And that is fine with you. You feel a little unsteady anyhow. Taking it slow makes you feel a bit more restless, but a lot more sure about taking the next few steps. She is somewhere close and you can feel her. She passes by the same place you pass, except at a different time. If time was meaningless you would feel better about being in the same place, but it's not and you don't. Time is just a seperator on a chilly November morning. This makes you even less sure about everything.
