      Days Gone By

It's been another week. My GPA is in the crapper this semester I guess. I'm making crappy grades these days. If the semester ended now, I'd have a 3.0, which would put my cumulative at 3.2. That might keep a scholarship if I had one, but I don't, and I think that's a good GPA for me. These tests are killing me. I made a B on my I Programming test, a high C on my internet tech test (I know! That's shameful!), and an F on my math test. What a buzz kill.

I've been busy as usual, but these days in my spare time I've been talking to a new friend. It's nice to have someone who cares. It's nice to look forward to speaking to someone who also looks forward to speaking to you. I bought two phone cards Monday afternoon, and I bought two more last night. The vender was the same both times. A young oriental girl who helps run her parents store across the street. Last night she asked me where I was from. I had to disappoint her by saying I'm just from around this area. She thought I might be from out of country, which would be interesting. I didn't tell her I was calling a friend out of state because I liked to hear her voice. I wondered how the girl from the store missed my southern accent. It's pretty thick. Maybe she missed it in all my mumbling.

There is about five weeks left in the semester. I got paid nearly 400 dollars yesterday, so I enjoyed that. I've got about 450 dollars to my name right now. I hope to have about 800 or 900 by the end of semester. By next year I hope to be able to not get a loan for school. However, all these hopes with money might just jinx me. I'll stop mentioning it. I'll speak more about my terribly boring life later.
